How to play Live Deal or No Deal
This is a fairly simple game. There is a qualifying round that you”ll have to go through before getting to the actual game, and this is the main difference from the TV show game. Let’s take a look at how to play Live Deal or No Deal:
- Qualifying Round
Before you get to the actual game you will have to spin three reels in the bank vault so that they line up at the top in order to unlock the vault.
Once qualified, you will play a Top Up round, which will increase the prize on the highest value briefcase. This can be anything from 75x to 500x the size of your bet. Next you choose which case this prize will go to.
- Main game: First round
Once you qualify you will be presented with 16 identical briefcases on the outside, but which are numbered on the inside. The hostess will open 3 of the briefcases and reveal their numbers. You will see a shadowy figure in the background walk across the stage and pick up a phone. This is the Banker, and you will be made an offer. You have 10 seconds to decide to accept or decline the offer by pressing the “Deal” or “No Deal” button.
By accepting the offer you receive the amount offered by the Banker as payment and the game ends at that point. The host will open the other folders, and you can view your values out of curiosity, but you can also leave the game at this point.
- Second and Third Round
If you press the “No Deal” button, you will enter the 2nd briefcase round. More briefcases will open, and again the Banker will make you an offer which you can accept or decline. As with the previous round, accepting the Deal will let you walk away with the money and end the game.
- Fourth and final round
You have reached the last round: 3 of the 5 remaining briefcases are revealed. You can either accept the Banker’s offer, or you can exchange the briefcase you initially chose for one of the remaining briefcases. Once you have made your decision, all the suitcases will be opened, including the one you choosed in the Top Up round. And this is when you find out whether or not you have made a good choice.
